Staples Cyber Security team is a collaborative partner and
revenue accelerator for Staples. We combine our unique expertise and knowledge
of the business with innovative technology and risk-based, customer-focused
solutions to protect our infrastructure and secure our assets.









**Your Role**









As part of a highly
motivated and innovative team, you will constantly challenge traditional
security approaches while forging close partnerships with our development teams. Our Application Security Architects have a
deep knowledge of application software security, including automated build and
delivery techniques. We focus on the highest-profile mission-critical
applications to provide security guidance throughout all phases of the
development lifecycle.













**What Youll Do**









+ Forge close partnershipswith our product teams and senior leadership

+ Identify and remediate securityrisks both on-prem and in Azure

+ Perform security assessmentsand refine our security controls, standards, and strategy

+ Further adoption of our SecureDevelopment Lifecyle, including tool automation

+ Provide direction andsupport for our Security Champions

**Who You Are**









You are a strong
communicator and passionate about helping others build quality software and
systems. You enjoy addressing technical challenges
and balancing technical concerns with business benefit while nurturing close
partnerships with product development teams.









**The Skills You Bring**









+ Knowledge of application security, threatmodeling, and secure coding practices

+ Industry securityknowledge and/or development background

+ Familiarity with web and/or mobiledevelopment, testing, and automation techniques

+ Experience withdevelopment technologies such as Docker, Java, Spring, Angular, React, node.js,C#, Azure

+ Acquired or interested in securitycertifications (CISSP, CSSLP, GPEN, GWAPT, GWEB)
