Position Description:
POSITION PURPOSE

As we invest in technology across our enterprise to transform our business processes and customer experience, we are investing in our end-to-end business process connectivity by creating a Business Support Team, aka BizOps.  This Project Lead role will be a critical part of the team and will help ensure the team's mission, vision, processes, priorities, and scope operationalized by engaging in key projects and initiatives to begin formalizing and implementing processes. The Project Lead will provide best in class support for problems/enhancements and ensure adequate communication and proper end to end integration across workstreams, systems and platforms. 

This newly formed team will be part of the Financial Systems Integration Team within the Corporate Controller’s group and work closely with key Accounting and Finance business functions to connect/support end to end financially impacting business processes, enable efficient project and knowledge hand-offs from strategic technology initiatives and is critical for the execution of and capitalizing on these capital investments.  Key to the success of the Project Lead will be effective partnership cross-functional with IT, product owners, and other finance and accounting professionals.    

Candidates should be experienced in the discipline of business \"BizOps\" support and hypercare on large scale technology transformation initiatives (preferably SAP S4Hana), implementation of processes to ensure transformation optimization such as change management and communication, business readiness indices, support tools (i.e. service now, Zendesk), key performance indicator measuring/monitoring (i.e. SLAs, support tickets, backlogs, business defined key performance indicators), coordination and communicating of project risks, issues, and readiness to drive best in class project handoffs to the business for ongoing operations.  As we shift to more predictive and proactive processes, we are seeking individuals with honed critical and analytical thinking who love to solve problems to help drive our processes towards intelligent insights and automation.  Individuals on this team should be catalysts for change within the Finance/Accounting organization and help to drive the organization to transformative and efficient business process execution.

MAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Provides project management including planning and timeline management for the project. 
    Quickly learn and thoroughly understand the departmental processes.
  • Provide business support to system changes/implementation
  • Evaluate existing processes and implement process improvements
  • Provide change management leadership
  • Overall responsibility for ensuring that the project meets the business need. 
  • Complete project-related activities including but not limited to: 
  • Business process evaluation 
  • Procedure development 
  • Develop process flow and requirements 
  • Quality Assurance testing 
  • Implementation planning 
  • Documentation 
  • User training 
  • Production support for problems/enhancements 
  • Ensures adequate communication and proper integration across departments, systems and platforms

    NATURE AND SCOPE

    • This position typically reports to a Manager or a Sr. Manager. 
    • This position may have management responsibility for a small team. 
    • Typically requires highly developed interpersonal skills for dealing with sensitive situations. 
    • Typically faces situations that have a variety of interpretations and require careful evaluation. 
    • Typically considers among many different options or procedures when solving problems. 

      ENVIRONMENTAL JOB REQUIREMENTS
      Environment:
      Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.

      Additional Environmental Job Requirements:
      Under regular pressure to meet deadlines, quotas and/or must frequently deal with difficult issues related to people or situations.
